Service Usage

Bike Bounty facilitates connections but is not responsible for user interactions, bike recovery outcomes, or accuracy of posted information.

Intellectual Property

All content on Bike Bounty, except user-generated content, is our property. Users retain rights to their content but grant us license to use it.

Community Guidelines

Maintain respectful communication, protect user privacy, and report suspicious activities. Violations may result in account suspension.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Amsterdam, Netherlands, under Dutch law. Class actions are waived.

1. Account Terms

  • You must be 18 years or older to use this Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Bike Bounty to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any malicious code or viruses
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service

3. Bounty System

The bounty system is a voluntary reward mechanism between users. Bike Bounty:

  • Does not guarantee payment of bounties
  • Is not responsible for disputes between users
  • May hold funds in escrow but is not a financial institution
  • Charges a service fee on successful transactions
  • Reserves the right to refund or reverse transactions in case of fraud

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post on Bike Bounty. However, by posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute such content.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Bike Bounty, you consent to our collection and use of personal information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BIKE BOUNTY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BIKE BOUNTY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
